I was part of the animation team for the 30th-anniversary campaign of Magazine Luiza, one of Brazil's largest retail chains, in a dynamic project led by Cora Post Studio and Jhonatan Lima. The campaign's visual foundation was built upon the illustrations of Lufe Santos, who also masterfully animated the central wave element frame-by-frame.
My contribution was multifaceted, involving rigging, animation, and 2.5D camera work across several key scenes:
Rooftop Scene: I was responsible for rigging the characters and setting up the 2.5D camera, creating the technical foundation for animator Arnon Barros to then bring them and the background assets to life.
Selfie with Dog Scene: My role expanded to include both the rigging and the final animation of the characters, as well as the 2.5D camera work, while Arnon animated the environment assets.
Pool Scene: I took full ownership of the characters, handling both their rigging and animation from start to finish.
For context, the opening whirlpool scene was a self-contained piece entirely rigged and animated by Jhonatan Lima.
