Cordel-Style June Festival | Tio Pepe Restaurant
Cordel-Style June Festival | Tio Pepe Restaurant
What began as a creative exploration of the Cordel aesthetic—a Brazilian folk literature style known for its distinct woodcut prints—quickly evolved into a commercial project. In this piece, which celebrates the atmosphere of Northeastern Brazil's June Festivals, I collaborated with illustrator Nivaldo Figueirêdo, taking charge of the character rigging and animation. Our work captured the attention of the owner of Tio Pepe, an iconic restaurant in Recife, who invited us to adapt the animation into an official communication piece for the brand.
